Candidates in the central Sindh district of Shaheed Benazirabad, formerly Nawabshah, sit their Matric and Intermediate papers under the local Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. It oversees the school-leaving examinations that affiliated government and private institutions across this part of the province depend on, registering candidates, running the annual sittings, marking scripts, and issuing the gazettes, mark sheets and certificates that follow.
